Q. Who will be coaching me to start my own Life Skills Coaching business for Kids?
A. Denise Honaker, will be your coach. She is an expert in teaching kids life skills and created the Better & Brighter curriculum. She has the experience of teaching hundreds of kids in public, and private schools, restaurants to picnic benches and mansions for the last 20 years.
Q. How does the training work?
A. The training takes 8 weeks and includes downloadable lessons, instructional videos, and 1:1 coaching Zoom calls with Denise. Each week, you will be given a lesson such as how to start a business, get clients, price workshops, teach the curriculum, create social media platforms, and market your business.
Q. Do I need to be a teacher or have experience in teaching kids?
A. No, you don’t need any teaching experience. If you love kids and really want to make a difference in their lives, that’s all you need. In our Better & Brighter course, we will teach you exactly how to teach each lesson, step-by-step. We provide everything you need to get in front of students and help them become more confident and JOYFUL!
Q. What skills do you teach students?
A. Students will learn essential social skills like confidence, kindness, good manners, and respectful communication in everyday situations. They’ll also gain practical life tools such as dining etiquette, personal responsibility, and teamwork to help them thrive at home, school, and in their communities.
Q. Can I make money teaching kids Social Skills?
A. Yes! You get to make money while you are helping kids become more confident and happier with real-life lessons!

Q. I have never started a business. How will I know what to do first?
A. Denise will walk you through all of the things you need to do to start your business. Here are some of the topics:

Q. Will I be trained to teach, or will I just follow words in a training manual?
A. You will be trained on every class lesson and scenario of the Better & Brighter curriculum. We want you to be comfortable and confident with the lessons. All the lessons and scripts are done for you. Denise will teach you how to time your classes and how to teach them so they are fun, interactive, and engaging.
Q. Will I receive any printable materials to help teach my students?
A. Yes! Denise will provide you with class course materials to assist in teaching. You will receive lesson handouts, the teacher’s step-by-step guide to teaching each course, marketing material, and email prompts.
Q. Where do I find students?
A. Wherever kids are, you can find your students. School collaborations are amazing for both public and private schools. Youth groups, community centers, and restaurants are always looking for enrichment workshops for kids. Through the training, Denise will go through all the ways you can find students who will love to take your workshops.
Q. What happens after I take the training? Am I just left out on my own to start my business?
A. One of the wonderful things about joining our Better & Brighter community is that there will always be someone here for you. You will have access to our private Facebook group, where you can share in other coaches’ successes and advice on building your brand and business. You will also have access to future amazing curricula to add to your business. You will never be on your own.
